The History of Air.

Over two decades ago now, Sergio Lozano and the team at Nike changed the footwear industry forever with the Air Max 95.

Conceptualised and realised by Lozano, who was working in the ACG (All-Conditions Gear) sector during the mid 90's, the Air Max 95 was designed for larger more powerful runners who required the extra support.

With clear visual cues from human anatomy, lacing systems from a set of ribs, a spine inspired outsole. First released in grey hues paired with bright yellow accents, Lozano claims: "The neon yellow was not new. It was obviously part of our colour palette. It was also part of our heritage, you know? It's part of Nike racing heritage."
